The name Heimbs stands for coffee culture in perfection. Our history goes back to 1880 when the "Spezialgeschäft in Kaffee und Thee" was founded in Braunschweig. This makes us one of the oldest roasteries in Germany – and one of the few coffee manufacturers. In small batches, our experts roast pure coffee beans according to a patented process and thus elicit the individual character of each bean. The revolutionary aerothermal roasting process
The coffee beans are swirled in an indirectly heated air stream and gently roasted. Without contact with hot metal parts that impair the roasting result, the beans float in the air and are thus evenly roasted from the outside to the inside. Due to the longer residence time in the hot air stream, the coffee beans can unfold their delicious roasted aromas in a nuanced way, and run no risk of burning at any time.
