Yukro

This coffee comes from farmers in the Yukro kebele, who deliver ripe cherry to the Telila Washing Station. There, station owner and exporter extraordinaire, Mike Mamo and his team oversee the careful processing of day lots from each contributing village. Mike only bought Telila in 2019, and if this shining lot is any indicator of what’s to come from their work, we’re in for a series of real treats!

Telila's Yukro is layered and complex, exhibiting a delightful balance of invigorating herbal aromatics, rich honeyed sweetness, and a refreshing splash of summer melon. Look for notes of lemon verbena and white flowers, and candied ginger in Yukro’s dry fragrance followed by delicate flavors of honey, stone fruits, and melon on the palate. This is a round and sweet Ethiopian coffee that’ll have you daydreaming about warmer days.
