Honduras La Esmeralda

Finca La Esmeralda is located in a mountain range 100 kilometers west of the capital Tegucigalpa. Due to the nature of the soil, the altitude and the climatic conditions of the region, Marcala is one of the most important coffee-growing areas in Honduras. Shade trees such as oaks, orange trees or banana trees frame the coffee plants. The cup profile can be described as follows: round and balanced, pleasant fruit acid balance, light notes of sweet caramel, nuances of hazelnut and milk chocolate.
