Nicaragua Orange Bourbon

Farmer Erwin Mierisch cultivates one of the finest and rarest coffees on the El Suspiro estate - the bourbon sub-variety Orange Bourbon. This plant originated as a natural mutation of Red Bourbon in El Salvador. The coffee cherries shine in the purest orange, a sight that is as rare as it is unusual! In contrast to varieties such as B. Arabica Caturra, the yield of the coffee trees is much lower, but the aroma of the coffee is outstanding: an incredibly strong aroma for Central American coffees with notes of hazelnuts and a wide variety of berries. A phenomenal fullness, which is underscored by a vinous-fruity acidity.
