Our Story
At Smokin' Aces Coffee Co. we strive to create a unique coffee experience for our customers. We source specialty-grade coffees from all over the world and roast them in a way that allows them to express their own inherent qualities. We also blend coffees of the same quality to create unique flavor profiles for specific applications.
We worked very diligently to create a logo that was both unique, and that embodied the ambitions and values of our brand. We have a deep appreciation for the way things were done around the turn of the 20th century, so we drew inspiration from the advertising of that time period. The same thought and craftsmanship these artists put into their work are the same that we put into the coffees we offer to our customers.
Our processes
We are constantly experimenting with new coffees, equipment, and methods to ensure we are blazing a trail in our field. From sourcing, roasting, tasting, and educating our customers we are able to maintain an experience that is always evolving in the right direction.
We roast solely on a San Franciscan 10lb roaster. Keeping our batches at this size allows us to ensure we are constantly roasting and offering the freshest product. We only off whole bean coffee through our site, because we want to ensure freshness is maintained until you’re ready to grind/brew.
PRO-TIP
If you’ve wondered what small changes you may make to ensure you’re getting the most out of your coffee at home; invest in a decent grinder. Our recommendation (and most cost-effective) solution is the Baratza Encore grinder. We don’t currently sell equipment, but we’re working on offering it in the future.
