The sherry coffee is part of our special edition cask coffee series. 

This coffee is characterized above all by its unique maturation in the sherry cask. The mixture of the natural sweetness of the coffee and the sweet scent of the sherry cask make this coffee an unforgettable taste experience. Sherry is only made in one specific region in Spain. Only the wines from the region of Sallucar de Barrameda, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia may be called sherry wines. The color of the white wine indicates the aroma , the darker the wine, the sweeter it tastes. Sherry is traditionally served as an aperitif or as a meal accompaniment.

After production, the sherry is stored in high-quality casks. After production, the sherry is stored in wooden casks. The aromas of the sherry wine unfold in this wooden barrel. The oak wood stores the aromas in the barrel. Through experiments, our master roaster succeeded in transferring the aroma of this oak wood to the coffee beans.

The coffee still breathes after a roasting process, which is why the coffee beans are stored in high-quality sherry oak barrels while they are still warm and the pores are still open. This rebreathing causes the different sherry aromas from the wood of the barrels to get into the bean. After an optimal storage time of 72 hours, the beans from the barrels are packed in coffee bags and made available for sale. The beans have enough time to absorb the unmistakable scent. Our aroma bags with a zip valve prevent this aroma from being lost. A soft, spicy, sweet coffee with the delicate woody scent of the sherry cask.
