Mokaflor SPECIAL CUT BLEND
The Caffèlab team has developed a new brewing blend and we did it starting from two very simple ideas: when the blend is made up of high quality coffees, we find it important to mix a few, to leave each aroma distinct and identifiable. In brewing the roasting profile must aim to develop the aromatic notes, without looking for excessive body (and therefore bitterness).
For this evaluation we extracted this blend in Aeropress , with a temperature of 92 ° and a brew ratio of 60gr / lt. Coffee brings to the nose sensations of vanilla and red fruits, especially blueberry. When tasted, the acidity is balanced by a nice sweetness, the body (of course we are talking about a leachate coffee) is, in comparison, more "bodied" than other 100% Arabica (especially if made up of only washed coffees). The acidity, on the sides of the tongue, is comparable to that of a ripe apple. Towards the end of the tasting, caramel notes emerge.
This blend was designed for brewing preparation.
