The hand-picked and fairly traded wild coffee comes from the Kaffa region in Ethiopia, the original home of all coffee. Here in south-west Ethiopia, Coffee Arabica is still growing wild in the rainforest today, as it has been for tens of thousands of years.

Thanks to ideal, natural growth conditions and low harvest yields, a unique aroma is concentrated in the wild Arabica beans. Gently roasted according to old craftsmanship, it becomes one of the best coffees in the world.

The capsule 

Our Bonga Red Mountain® coffee capsules for the Nespresso®* system are filled with Ethiopian wild coffee from certified organic wild collection. For practical enjoyment without a guilty conscience, the capsules are completely aluminum-free and bio-based .

Their industrial compostability has been tested by an independent certification body in accordance with the European standard DIN EN 13432. This means that after 12 weeks at least 90% of the material has been converted into CO2 and water in industrial composting.
