Limited Edition Uganda Rwenzori Buruma Natural Coffee
1,720 meters above sea level on the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Rwenzori mountains, something fantastic is happening.
Coffee is being processed in an entirely natural way. From handpicking to selecting only the best berries using a floatation tank and finally drying the cherries on a rack, hand-turning them for optimum control. This method dries the berries to perfection, ready to be sold to the roasters. Only 1% of coffee originating from the Rwenzori region is processed in this beautifully natural way.
Paying such close attention to the berries means that this medium roast, medium-bodied coffee can produce a wonderful mix of strawberry jam, red cherry and milk chocolate.
