The name of the coffee comes from the legend of Matunda, a vase made of volcanic lava, hidden in the depths of underground volcanoes in the Nyeri region, which contains the best fruit in the world. it reappears in the vase, but if the vase is stolen from its place all the fruit in it will instantly spoil.
