The lime that is harmful to machines is removed from the water by ion exchange. However, valuable trace elements and minerals are retained. The activated carbon also filters odors and flavors as well as dirt particles out of the water. You get the ideal water for preparing coffee and tea. Coffee machines, kettles, irons, etc. are protected. The time-consuming descaling of the devices is largely eliminated. The filter bag is simply placed in the water tank. The ion exchange takes place automatically. The bag has a capacity of approx. 100 liters, corresponding to approx. 700 cups, with a carbonate hardness difference of 10°. The bag must be replaced at least every 2 months.
