GUATEMALA Maragogype

The Arabica variety Maragogype, discovered for the first time in the Brazilian state of Bahia, is a natural mutation of the Typica, from which a very large grain is obtained, the largest in the world. It has a very low caffeine content and is known for its softness and digestibility.

NOTES ON GREEN

This coffee has an average of 18-19 sieves and the defect rating ranges from very low to zero.

In this roasted espresso coffee (action 50-55, Italian) we found a hazelnut cream, with slight nuances. On the nose, there are sensations of vanilla, sometimes of spices and tobacco. To the taste, the coffee has the delicate body typical of high altitude washings, an unobtrusive acidity, and a very pleasant sweetness.

If toasted by filter and brewing (action 65-70, full city) the sweetness is confirmed as pleasant and persuasive and vanilla stands out among the aromas.
