ESPRESSO FORTISSIMO
The coffee cherries for our organic Espresso Fortissimo coffee come from Peru, Honduras, and Colombia.
In Peru, the land of the Incas, organic coffee is mainly grown on small plantations in the wooded foothills of the Andes. At altitudes (over 1,200 meters) the coffee cherries find the rich soil and tropical climate they need. The Peruvian coffee variety is highly valued by connoisseurs for its mild acidity and its gentle, nuanced aromas.
Honduras is the largest coffee nation in Central America. With its nutrient-rich soils and Caribbean climate, the country produces excellent, wet-processed organic coffees with a wide range of aromatic profiles.
Our espresso fortissimo is rounded off by organic coffee from Colombia. This develops its unique aroma on clayey soils at altitudes between 1350 and 1750 meters. The importance of coffee is very great here and it is not only benefited from the quality, but also from sustainable cultivation with social responsibility.
