Colombia Pink Bourbon La Claudina Estate

While the majority of the coffee on the La Claudina Estate is harvested from coffee bushes of the Arabica Castillo variety, which is characterized by its high yield and resistance to diseases, there are also a few coffee plants of the very rare variety Arabica Bourbon Vermelho, also known as Pink Bourbon. On the one hand, this rarity is much more difficult to cultivate than Castillo. However, this is more than offset by the outstanding taste quality of the Pink Bourbon. Notes of jasmine blossoms, sage, and dark chocolate are underlined by a body reminiscent of melted butter and complemented with spicy aromas of white pepper. A pleasure!
