Colombia Marcela Gesha

The farm is located in the mountainous department of Tolima and benefits from the nutrient-rich soil of the inactive volcano it sits upon. El Vergel is managed by the Baytor brothers’ Elias & Shady and their mother, Marta. Since El Vergel’s beginning in 1995 it has become known as one of the biggest producers in the region. The Gesha varietal is rare in Colombia and the special process method of anaerobic fermentation used for this coffee adds complexity and sweetness to the cup.

You may find notes of orange, peach, lemon, honey, and even blueberry!
