Coffee Santa Elena
This is how coffee tastes
Our Santa Elena coffee is particularly full-bodied. It is velvety and elegant in the mouth and we taste a fine honey note. The naturally sweet taste is created by the so-called "honey process", a special method of processing the coffee cherry. After washing the coffee cherries, a thin layer of pulp remains on the bean. This layer develops a sweetish aroma during drying, which you can taste in your cup at the end. Our roaster Thomas visited the finca and was sure - this coffee is unparalleled in all of Central America! An unusually clear taste profile with a hint of honey.
A woman in the midst of the men's domain of coffee
The ladies at Green Cup Coffee think that's great! Our roaster Thomas visited the finca owner Luz Marina on her plantation in Costa Rica. The taste of their arabica beans won him over immediately. In the meantime a real friendship has developed between Thomas and Luz and Luz reserves a few bags of their wonderful coffee for each harvest!
