EASY TOFFEE SYRUP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water – right from the faucet
  • 1 cup Sugar in the Raw Organic Cane Sugar
  • 1 cup toffee pieces 

DIRECTIONS

  1. You may ask whether you can melt toffee to make the toffee sauce. The answer is yes so let's begin. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat combine; sugar, water and toffee pieces.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  3. Pour into bottle through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove undissolved bits.
  4. Store your syrup in the refrigerator.
  5. Shake well with every use to recombine ingredients that may have settled.
