Espresso Martini
The signature cocktail Espresso Martini was invented by British bartender Dick Bradsell at Fred’s Club in London in the 1980s. An espresso martini is a cocktail made with espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup. The drink is typically served in a martini glass and garnished with coffee beans.
Make your favorite Espresso Martini at home with just a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml vodka
- 20 ml coffee liqueur
- 1 shot freshly brewed espresso coffee
- 7ml sugar syrup
- pinch of salt
- ice
- coffee beans for garnish
STEP 1. Brew a shot of espresso
STEP 2. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
STEP 3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold.
STEP 4. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
STEP 5. Garnish with a few coffee beans if you like.
