Coffee and Panna Cotta in one can hardly disappoint, so we put it to the test. We explain how we made the Coffee Panna Cotta and what you need for it.

What is an Espresso Panna Cotta?

An Espresso Panna Cotta is made of cream, milk, sugar, gelatin and an Espresso of course. The gelatin ensures that the Panna Cotta remains firm. The dish originates from the Piedmont region of northern Italy. The combination of cream and a subtle coffee flavor makes this dessert irresistible!

This is how you make an Espresso Panna Cotta

Do you want to make an Espresso Panna Cotta yourself? We give you a recipe for 4 people - a great reason to invite some people. What you need in terms of ingredients: 125 milliliters of espresso, 50 grams of white caster sugar, 375 milliliters of whipped cream, 3 sheets of gelatin and a pinch of salt.

1. Heat the espresso in a saucepan and combine it with the sugar, cream and a pinch of salt. Do not let it boil, but remove it from the heat before the boiling point.

2. Soak the gelatine leaves in cold water and beat into the warm mixture with a whisk. Do this until no more lumps are visible.

3. Pour the mixture into the molds and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

4. Remove them from the molds and serve on a plate or in a transparent glass.

Optionally, you can also pour some whipped milk over the Panna Cotta. Serve it with a cup of espresso.
