Whether prepared with a mocha, capsules or pods or consumed at the bar, for us coffee lovers espresso is irreplaceable in the small rituals of every day. Every now and then, however, we like to break the monotony by savoring special coffees: find out how to brew 3 gourmet coffees at home, ideal for pampering yourself with a mouth-watering break.

Pistachio coffee

The strong taste of coffee and the delicate taste of pistachio: it seems difficult that they can happily coexist. Instead, they create a delicious combination, all to be enjoyed. Even in company: pistachio coffee is perfect for surprising family and friends at a different break from the usual or for a mouth-watering end to a meal!

Ingredients

  • 200 g sweet pistachios, roasted and shelled.
  • 170 ml liquid cream.
  • 50 g sunflower seed oil.
  • One cup of espresso (about 30-50 ml). We recommend a blend with a refined aftertaste to tie in well with the pistachio flavor: 100% Arabica Bio capsules are perfect with their distinct floral and fruity notes.
  • 30 g icing sugar.
  • Pistachio granules.

Preparation

Start by preparing a pistachio paste: place pistachios and sunflower oil in a kitchen food processor, operate the appliance until a paste is obtained.

Then move on to whipped cream: in a glass container mix the liquid cream with the powdered sugar and whip with an electric whisk until the consistency becomes creamy.

In the container with the cream, pour in the pistachio paste and whisk the mixture.

In a shot glass, combine the coffee with the pistachio cream. Decorate with the grits and your pistachio coffee is ready to serve!

Hazelnut and Honey Coffee

With a Mediterranean flavor like the special pistachio preparation, another delicious gourmet coffee is Hazelnut Coffee and Honey, a sweet caress for the palate, also perfect as a mouth-watering end to a meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons hazelnut cream.
  • 4 teaspoons of wildflower honey.
  • 4 cups of espresso. We recommend a blend that goes well with hazelnuts and honey, like the rich, intense flavor of the Latina blend.
  • 2 tablespoons of whipped cream.
  • Hazelnut crumbs.

Preparation

Mix the hazelnut cream with the honey.

Pour the mixture into 4 cups.

Add espresso to each cup.

Add whipped cream to each cup.

Decorate with the grits and the hazelnut and honey coffee is ready to serve (and enjoy, mostly!).

Ginger and cinnamon coffee

Among specialty coffees, a place of honor deserves this particular spicy preparation. Ginger and cinnamon coffee gives the palate an incredible taste experience. Would you like to try it?

Ingredients

  • Ginger root.
  • Cinnamon powder.
  • Espresso. For this gourmet coffee, we recommend using an aromatic blend such as Super Blend.
  • Milk.
  • Powdered sugar.

Preparation

Cut 2 thin slices of ginger and place them on the bottom of the cup. To be able to visually appreciate the different layers of this specialty, ideally use a glass or glass coffee cup.

Pour the espresso while still hot.

Now it's time for a nice sprinkling of cinnamon powder and powdered sugar.

Pour in the hot milk (if you have the special tool, make hot milk foam), filling the cup completely.

Decorate with a little more cinnamon and powdered sugar. Here we go: your ginger and cinnamon coffee is ready!
