Some, like the Fancy Supremo Espresso, were created when BKR was founded before the turn of the millennium and have been with us for more than 20 years. Three special varieties are included: The Berliner Perle is Germany's only espresso that is made only from pearl beans. These (pearl round) beans grow individually in the cherries at the tips of the shoots of the coffee bushes, must then be selected from the coffee and are considered to be particularly aromatic. The Sicilian espresso consists exclusively of Robusta (Coffea Canephora) beans and is also one of our strongest espressos in terms of caffeine content.
