This decaffeinated coffee comes from one of the largest coffee-producing countries in Central America, Honduras.
The coffee we have selected has obtained Organic/bio and Fair Trade certifications as it is grown without the use of chemical fertilizers in respect of the environment and in compliance with adequate economic and social standards throughout the supply chain.
The Swisswater process that uses a natural solvent, water, was used to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. This procedure, in addition to giving us the certainty of not releasing any traces in the beans, is able to guarantee a high-quality result in the cup.
When tasted, the interesting acidity of this coffee, reminiscent of lemon peel, blends well with an unexpected body in a decaffeinated coffee. In the persistent aftertaste, notes of fresh walnut emerge.
