Within walking distance of the Cafédirect office, we have our own London Fields Roastery. Designed especially to roast high-grade coffees in small batches, our Q-graders take care of every batch. Every coffee is roasted and cupped to find that perfect balance of flavors and we pride ourselves in bringing the best taste to your cup. Unlike any other coffee company, we invest 50% OF OUR PROFITS into PRODUCERS DIRECT, a UK charity that works directly with farmers to improve sustainability and livelihoods, right across the coffee-growing world. The charity is run by farmers, for farmers, taking leadership and developing innovative solutions to the challenges they face. This reciprocal, direct relationship enables us to provide our consumers with great tasting, very high quality and continually improving drinks. We are proud to be the UK’s first and largest Fairtrade hot drinks brand, improving lives all over the world. And with at least a third of our sales certified as Soil Association Organic, we’d like to think we do our bit for the planet as well. Our long-standing relationship with the cooperative began at the very beginning and since then we have witnessed their extraordinary determination to protect and develop their coffee. From near collapse to supplying our popular Machu Picchu single origin, we've watched them shine as part of the Cafédirect family.
