Our Story
In 1899, Federico Keller decided to settle in Pueblo Nuevo Viñas, Santa Rosa, Guatemala, and in honor of his wife he named the place Finca Santa Isabel. Due to the geographic location and dry climate, all coffee production is grown organically using ground covers and under shade trees, which help maintain fertility and biodiversity.
The farm has endeavored to carry out certified production, conservation and social development programs in harmony with its surroundings, with the conviction that this will allow it to produce a coffee that reflects its personality in an original and honest way.

Community
Finca Santa Isabel cares about maintaining a good relationship with the community that surrounds it and contributes to education, health and culture projects with it.
In 1974 the Federico Keller School was built and donated to the community of the Aldea Las Joyas de San Nicolas, where 294 boys and girls study from kindergarten to 3rd grade. In the sports area, the farm shares a soccer field with the community, where tournaments are regularly played. To support the festivities and traditions, a marimba was obtained that is used to play happy songs that are very typical of the place. La Finca has a medical clinic and a doctor visits every two weeks.
