People suffering from hyperacidity should also avoid it because coffee stimulates the secretion of gastric acid thus, it is not recommended for those with stomach problems. People suffering from stomach ulcers should not drink it, even in the decaffeinated version. Pregnant and lactating women must remember that caffeine passes into the placenta and into milk. They can drink coffee but in moderate amounts.

When should I limit my coffee consumption?
