From the dream of a Trieste artisan of coffee to the reality of an international espresso
In Trieste, the scent of coffee is breathed in the air. At the beginning of the 1700s, the port welcomed the first ships with loads full of coffee. Twenty years later, thanks to the establishment of the Free Port, the city became the main Austro-Hungarian port and one of the most important ports for the landing of coffee beans. These are the years in which the first shops open where you could taste and buy freshly roasted coffee. At the beginning of the nineteenth century, the Trieste master roasters will give life to a revolutionary innovation: the introduction of the blend. A history of coffee so fascinating that even Dionisio Bazzara could only be persuaded, who in 1966 decided to take over the roasting company “La Brasiliana - Industria Triestina del Caffè”.
Designed, tested, and roasted strictly in Italy, thanks to a careful selection of the best varieties of Arabica and Robusta our blends satisfy all consumption habits.
