We are the roasting company on the dike from the coffee city of Bremen - and since 2019 we have been making the coffee trade tangible for everyone here. We show in detail how we roast on a large scale: gently in a drum roaster under the eyes of experienced master roasters. Our gastronomy range with reliably consistent quality and guaranteed enjoyment for and every taste. With a clear conscience, our successful Azul Verde coffees, which are sure to succeed for every occasion, stand for coffee enjoyment from sustainable cultivation. Our love for special Costa Rican coffees is anchored in our name and specialty coffee is naturally part of our Azul DNA. The Specialty Coffees focus on the special and outstanding as a taste experience. An experimental fermentation sometimes an unexpectedly funky flavors of strawberry and cherry. They have an innovative spirit, limitless curiosity, and an absolute passion for coffee.
WE BURN FOR THE BEAN
For over 70 years: innovative and steeped in tradition at the same time. We offer a wide range of classic coffees. But that's not enough for us. Our passion for the bean is also evident in the Specialty Coffees - hand-roasted in the drum. They have an innovative spirit and an absolute flair for coffee. Both of these in turn flow into our Classic line. This is how we guarantee top quality in all areas.
WE OFFER TRANSPARENCY
Our “coffee hunters” are constantly on the move to track down fantastic qualities around the equator and to establish contacts with the farmers. We work with a wide variety of cooperatives, especially in Latin America and India. Some of them also come to us in Bremen. Understanding for one another and contact at eye level are important to us in order to be able to react quickly in the global and seasonal coffee business.
WE ARE OPEN TO NEWS
We look beyond the rim of the cup. What are the trends to be discovered around the world? We are constantly on the go-to coffee festivals, hotspots, or sports events, like the White Sands Festival on our doorstep in Norderney. We pick up ideas like the Coffee Runner and optimize them for our customers. Or we create exciting mixed drinks with coffee as a seasonal source of sales on top. The benchmarks for us are the world's best in the industry.
