Australia Skybury Estate

In the early 20th century, coffee-growing developed in this rural area, best known for its rodeo shows and tobacco industry.

After economic difficulties in the 1920s initiated a decline in coffee cultivation in favor of cane sugar cultivation, it was rediscovered in the 1970s. Skybury farmers Ian and Mark MacLaughlin (father and son) work very efficiently - with just eight employees they produce 150 tonnes of green coffee a year.

This rarity is highly coveted worldwide, and the quantity harvested falls far short of the demand. The extraordinary coffee trumps with unusual notes of fresh bread and roasted meat as well as a creamy, well-rounded body.
